Just looking at this guy makes us tired! The 2011 Raid the North Extreme adventure race took place in the mountains of BC’s West Kootenays. Competitors spent seven days navigating 500 kilometers of rugged backcountry — biking, trekking, paddling, and even climbing. To make it to the finish line, athletes carried everything they needed to survive...including a whole lot of determination.
